India Tour Packages from the UK: Golden Triangle, Rajasthan, Punjab and the Himalaya
For travellers from the UK: the Taj Mahal and Rajasthan, Amritsar and Punjab, Kashmir or the Himalaya, with airport pickup and a clear price before you fly.
From the UK, India is one long flight away and rewards a two-week trip. First-time visitors usually want the Taj Mahal and Rajasthan's forts and palaces; many British Punjabi families come for Amritsar, relatives and weddings; and walkers come for the Himalaya. Treeo puts these together from its base in Punjab.
Getting here
London has frequent direct flights to Delhi (DEL), and there are connections from other UK airports. From Delhi, Agra is about three to four hours by road on the expressway, Jaipur about five, and Chandigarh about five. We can meet you at arrivals: see airport pickups.
India is 4 hours 30 minutes ahead of the UK in British Summer Time and 5 hours 30 minutes ahead in winter.
Visa
Almost every visitor from abroad needs an Indian visa before flying, and many passports can apply for an e-Visa online. Rules and eligibility change, so check your own passport on the official Government of India site, indianvisaonline.gov.in, before you book flights. Use only that site: look-alike agency sites charge extra for the same form.

When to come
October to March suits Delhi, Agra and Rajasthan: warm days and cool nights. April to June is very hot on the plains, which is when the hills and Kashmir are at their best. July and August bring the monsoon, with landslide risk on mountain roads.
Weddings
Coming over for a wedding in Punjab? We can block rooms for guests from the UK, arrange airport cars and help with the venue: weddings and functions.

Questions UK travellers ask
Is a package or a tailor-made trip better?
Start from a package to see the route and price, then tell us what to change. Dates, hotel standard and extra nights can all be adjusted.
Can I add nights in Delhi before the tour?
